What are the options for greenhouse installations?

BC Greenhouses offers two unique options for greenhouse installations

Option One:

We offer an Active Supervisor service to oversee local contractors or laborers.

  • Our factory-experienced Active Supervisor will arrive on site on the day of receiving the greenhouse shipment. To secure your skilled laborers, we provide a full breakdown of working days, including the duration of each workday. It is important to note that this breakdown covers 80-100% of the greenhouse installation, as many factors can affect the job site and the speed of installation, such as weather, restricted working hours, access to the site, and the skill level of the labor provided. Our Active Supervisor will provide instructions and directions for any remaining parts not installed within our allotted time frame.
  • We will send a list of necessary equipment and tools required for the job in advance. The local contractors are expected to source the required tools, such as ladders/scaffolding, power tools, power to the site, scissor lifts, cranes, and offloading equipment (tools required vary per project).
  • The foundation must be prepared in advance, and the site must be ready for easy access. We require a photo of the site in advance to assess the site’s preparedness.
  • The greenhouse must be in its original crates, covered and protected from the weather and placed as close to the installation area as possible.
  • Foundation work, electrical, and plumbing must be supplied by contractors secured by the purchaser. Greenhouse accessories will be installed, and all electrical connections need to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Option Two:

Full installation of the greenhouse excludes foundation preparation and electrical and plumbing work.

  • The installation team will provide labor, power tools, and larger equipment such as scaffolding, lifts, ladders, cranes, and offloading equipment.
  • Foundation work, including electrical and plumbing work, must be completed by certified contractors. The foundation must be prepared in advance, and the site should be ready for easy access. We require a photo of the site in advance to ensure site preparedness.
  • Before the installation team arrives, the greenhouse must be in its original crates and placed as close to the installation area as possible.

Our greenhouse experts would be happy to answer any questions you have.
